Mitlin Minute: When Life Intersects & A Hockey Jersey Is The Common Thread

In this edition of Mitlin Minute we pay tribute to Michael McGrath of the Chicago Fury and the members of the community, in Pittsburgh, PA, of the Tree of Life Synagogue.

Michael played for the U18 Chicago Fury and died last week.  People were asked to wear their hockey jerseys on Monday, October 29, 2018 to show support for Michael.  Over the same weekend, a shooter walked into the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA and began shooting and took the lives of eleven people who were in the house of worship.

Because of these two events, I decided to wear my Israeli National Hockey jersey to work to honor Michael and those lost in Pittsburgh.

Be sure to share and comment on this Mitlin Minute with your network so we can raise awareness for those like Michael and honor those that lost their lives this weekend.
