While serving our clients is undoubtedly one of our greatest JOYs, once in a while something happens that simply makes our JOY overflow We are overJOYed to share that our Founder and Wealth Advisor, Lawrence Sprung, CFP® has been selected as a Founding Member of the Investopedia Advisor Council.

Getting selected for this inaugural council was largely because of Larry’s staunch advocacy for financial literacy. Only 25 advisors were selected to serve on this council, and the cohort is filled with likeminded professionals who advocate for financial education.
A Council of Financial Education Advocates
“To be part of this group of 25 amazing advisors who are deeply committed to financial education, many of whom I admire and I am proud to call friends, means so much,” said Larry.
“Financial literacy is at the core of who I am and why I founded Mitlin Financial Inc. 20 years ago this October,” he added. “While having an advisor would not have altered my mom Linda’s diagnosis or her passing from breast cancer, I truly believe it could have eased some of the challenges during her years of treatment. The families we serve at Mitlin know how deeply I care. This platform will allow me to affect the lives of many more families, and for that, I am grateful.”
In his role as a member, Larry will continue to provide guidance for how Investopedia (and fellow advisors) can keep people informed about their finances. Put simply, he’ll keep doing what he has always done with advocating for financial literacy – he’ll just be doing it in a more formal way alongside other industry leaders.
